Now that I have a set of fogs that I like, I would like to change the bulb color. Currently, they have a yellow hue to them, and I would like something to match the HID headlamps more. Question 1: Will the Honda wiring harness handle the higher watt bulbs (85w super or hyper whites). Question 2: Should I get MAX White or Super White or some other color bulb, and where to purchase/order. Thanks.

The Honda harness will only support 55 watts H3 bulbs. You can purchase them here at www.acura-tl.com just look at light bulbs. I was going to get ion crystal cause I'm not sure if the super white matches our HID's well.

Hey guys,
Will the 85w burn up the wiring harness or can the harness take that much voltage or will I have to upgrade the wires?
I know when you put them in and they work but will there be long term damage?

Anybody using the Piaa Ion Cystals? does it look like the IS's fogs? Does it compliment well?

85w are considered high beams. i have them in my fogs and when you look at them directly, they literally blind you for a minute or so
