AEM Brake pads and interchangability
I have them on my car... there are a few notches on the backside of the pad that need to be ground down to fit. Metal Masters are the same, but they grind them down for u.. I don't know if they do it for you by this time, as I had them on my car and was the guinea pig on the install to see if it will fit, so I told them about the problem. Even though there isn't a listing for the 99 and up TL, it will fit.

These are the fronts..The notches I am pointing to are much bigger, you need to grind it down to be flush with the rest of that part, as u see
These are the rears..those little thingies i have my thumb against need to be grinded down to fit over the plate into the caliper.
