sunroof visor...worth while?????

I'm considering ordering the "moonroof visor" from this site and was wondering if there was any bad experiances from any members here who have one, I hate being disapointed with a purchase even if it is only 60bucks.
I live in so cal and can use the sunroof year round but disslike the high speed wind noise.

I have one (from Acura). Took it off recently to detail my car and there was a lot of built up dirt between the paint and the rubber seal. Luckily I got to it before any real damage occured. Cleaned it up, had a little micro marring and scratching, buffed it and sealed it. This is similar to the splash guards in that it will rub on the paint.
I plan to put it back on. If you keep you car clean, I don't see it as a problem as far as the dirt build up.

Get it, works fine and really does cut down on the wind noise alot. Also doesn't effect the sunroof.

I won't go without one.

No problem. It cuts down on the noise.
Doesn't intefere with the roof at all. You can go fully open and full tilt. It "covers" part of the opening when you open it, so when you look straight up, you see the visor.

Straight forward install. Has two small brackets with screws and nuts. Good luck with your purchase !!

Wind deflection is superior when visor is installed.
Very easy to install and take off when needed and
look's good to.
Go for it.

I think its good for dedicated smokers. Keeps the rain out. I like more open sunroof myself.

I got this after having my car for 2 months... purley cosmetic reasons. I love the look and ill never take it off... Good thing cause now taht ive had it for 6 months, it has scratched the roof just like the mud guards eheheheh......

While the roof is closed, you hear no wind noice. When its open, it definatly is louder, but not a bad loud... and it does a good job, you can feel any air moving really.

It does cut about 30% of the open air space fromt he sunroof. I dont mind, i dont plan on hanging out the sunroof anytime soon

Its a b!tch to keep clean though. But again, worth it in my opinion.

Do you have to drill holes into the roof? I thought it was just double-sided tape??

no its 2 brackets that screw to the visor and then it attaches to the roof using the inner lip of the sunroof lining. hard to explain. but no drilling required.

Defin. does cut down on noise when you have the sunroof fully open. Also adds a little style to the car.....even though it's such a small mod.
