just do it when you take it in for your next oil change or service. I don't think it takes long at all.

I know the feeling, it drove me crazy. I'd say call your dealer & see if you can go by same day to get it fixed while you wait. I think they either put some sort of tape, or re-lube it. Wait till you get the seatbelt squeak. I had the driver side seatbelt buckle changed a couple of weeks ago, all of a sudden the passenger side started squeaking...

What do they do to fix it? Just put silicone on the gasket or something? Or is it something a little more permanent?

I believe they put teflon tape on the paint where the seals meet up.

I just had mine fixed on my 03 TL. It went to the dealer for the oil and it was done at the same time. They put some special plastic thingie on...some stablizer or noise reduction thingie, I dunno...but the squeaks are gone, so I'm a happy lil' gurl!

I fixed my sunroof squeak by applying Meguiar's Rubber and Plastic treatment to the seal all around the sunroof. Poof the squeak was gone and has not come back and that was 4-5 weeks ago. I am sure that Armour All or silicone would work the same.

Open the sunroof about 3/4s and apply to the front gasket then use the button that tilts the sunroof from the back and apply to the sides and back.

i had the same thing, i just used silicone spray on the seal, worked great... i use the stuff on all my seals and under the hood on the hoses, the stuff will make anything on the car that is rubber last for eternity... $1.00 can of magic

My first experience using armor all on rubber seals came when I owned a '91 Mitsubishi Eclipse. I has a sqeak in the back that was driving me crazy. I turned out to be the hatchback seal. One use of armor all on the seal, and the sound never came back again.

My sunroof actually got stuck open, and it was about to rain, so I stopped by my local dealer and they had me out in less than a half an hour. It was $35.

Wasn't that covered under warranty?

Check these out:

moonroof

Seatbelt

After you hit the link and the new page says "The page cannot be displayed",
remove the "." between acura and world and refresh

Iggy.

PS. To mods,
Perhaps Tim could bury the hatchet and remove this silly "a"world ban so his own members don't have to play so many games.
