sunroof

I had the same problem, I was going to have the dealership handle it. When I was deatling the car, I put some (Back to black, made by Mothers) on the rubber seal, Since then nothing, not even a peep! Quite! It did the trick, made the rubber look like new and it`s been quite ever since.

During the first week I brought my home I went over every weather stripping, seal, rubber bumper etc. with spray-on silicone such as this stuff:

So far so good. I've used it on my Talon and in the 9 years I had that car nothing has squeeked or leaked.

I had the same problem with the squeek. I took it to the dealer and they put the teflon tape on the seal. It was fine for about 1 week and for about 1 month now the sunroof rattles. It sounds like it is gone to fall off or something. It almost sounds like it is loose in the track or something?? Im gonna wait till my 12,000KM service and get them to check it out..... FREAKEN ANNOYING that rattle!!!

is this only for cars under warrnty?? My 2000 TL has 53k miles on it..
And my sunroof dosn't really squeek, it rattles over bumps. So i just leave the back part open, so it dosn't make any noise. but its ok for now since its summer

I'm happy with anti squeak tape, applied by dealer, never heard any sound from my sunroof after that.

Why waste the time taking it to the Dealer......Go to Napa auto parts and buy a tube of Sil-Gyde. It's a silicone lubricant (grease) made for rubber seals. Partially open the sunroof and apply it sparingly with your finger. No more squeaks.....will last about a year. Takes about 1 minute to apply. Why go to the Dealer and have them mess with your ride when you can solve the problem at home...give it a try.
