Sub in trunk, Hate the Rattling!

I recently got a 10 inch alpine R sub 1500 watt.....it sounds real good but If I raise the volume up 4 bars (stock radio) the rattling on the outside in the trunk sounds real bad..like I had an old civic with a system mad gutta lol. I dont want that for the TL, I want whats best for her. I wanna know what I can buy to fix that. I know about the Dynomat but is there anything else I could do? what have you guys done and if youve put dynomat in the car show some pics! If youve done something else show pics of that too. Thanks Guys/Gals.

Usually when you dynomat a vehicle you put the carpet back over it so you dont see it. One thing you can do is cheack all the nuts and bolts making sure theya are tight
go to a good stereo shop and they can look and listen to it and give you some direction. its easier to resolve this if you hear where its coming from directly.

even with the dynamat your trunk lid may flex. if you have a spoiler, check to make sure its bolted down enough.

I have no spoiler, the main rattling comes from where it says "A C U R A", by the locking mechanism for the trunk.

Guys, if you want to stop the rattling in the spoiler, unbolt it from the trunk and insert pre-cut weather-resistant foam in between the spoiler and the trunk. Then, re-install the spoiler.

As for another product besides Dynamat, they as well as a few other companies make a spray sound barrier. You basically remove any parts such as door panels, trunk panels, etc..., spray the area, wait for drying, and re-install whatever you took off before.

wong05tsx ended up just turning out one of the bushing/stops on the trunk lid so it was more snug with the car. now it just flexes instead of rattles lol
