Stuck seat?

Stuck seat?
I don't move my seat much, but a couple of days ago I went to slide my seat forward and it was stuck on the right side. The seat would only move a few inches left side and crooked. I figured something got stuck on the other side, but didn't find anything. Has this happen to anyone here? Does the seat have a motor on both sides that slides the seat and one is not working? The next thing I was gonna do is remove the seat and look underneath.

Both of you:
remove the seat. there are 2 bolts in front and 2 in rear, under little plastic pieces. Just take them out and double check that the rails are clean and check your motors as well. If you want, add an EXTREMELY THIN layer of grease, so thin its clear.
If you're going to test the motors with the seat unbolted (power connected, seat bottom leaned forward/back), make sure you leave the SRS sensors plugged in. They are the yellow wires/connectors. If you remove them, don't turn the key on or your SRS module will register an error, turning the SRS light on. You can turn it off yourself with an easy guide, or have the dealer do it. The dealer wont do it without first running diagnostics, which is going to cost you. Just a heads up.
