remote start

I am getting a remote start from a friend BNIB, and i want to save money and install it myself. It comes with all the directions and im pretty wire savvy so im pretty sure i can figure that part out. What i dont know about is bypasses. Ive never done an remote start before, and know nothing yet of installing them. What all do i need?

For this, i think you should leave it to someone who installs it for a living.

+2. The install is a piece of cake for guys who do it for a living. It will likely take you several hours looking at wiring diagrams, and you'll probably get at least 1 or 2 things wrong. However, the installers I know don't like installing stuff they didn't supply. It might cost a little more to get someone to install yours, but I still think it's worth it.

I installed one several yrs. ago, although it didn't require a bypass. It wasn't too difficult and the mfg. provided the model specific wiring info. It would depend if you have some experience using a meter, soldering, etc.

ok so im installing a remote start now, and heres the wires i need help with checking
do i just cut the wire, and the just splice in wire to the remote start?

also, we have to accessory wires, and my remote start only connects to one. but, i have an extra wire incase that happens.

where are the oem arm and disarm?
and i have a bypass (556H) if i need it

and most of these are in the fuse boxes, does it matter which side of the fuse i splice into?

this is the list i got

edit: figured some stuff out, what i need to know now is which wire are the arm and disarm of the alarm, which is the data1 and data2 wires for the bypass at the ignition switch, and it says on the bypass to connect it tothe remote start, but i cant find anywhere on the remote start to connect it to
