i made the mistake of inserting a cd with a psa label today into my player. although played ok, it would not eject and i have an 'error' message display.
i think i can see the edge of the stuck cd, but do you guys have any tips on how to remove the cd??? thanks

take another cd and pres on the edge of the stuck cd, pushing it back in a little. once it makes contact with the rollers, it should be pushed right out.

hi guys had the same problem put a cdr in w a label and it jammed and got an error message i took it to the dealership at first they said cdr's are not recommended because they are thinker than store bought cd's when they saw i wasnt buying that reason they said the label prob heated up and jammed...they said they would order me a new radio and would have to send my old radio to cali to and they would fedex my cd's back....anyway four days later i turned on my radio and the cd popped out....i pullled off the label and inserted it and havent had a problem since and by the way the dealership never got back 2 me....Jerks

Same here for my friend's 00 avalon. The cd player was broken and the dealer blamed it on the cdr that he plays most of the time. They also said its thinner and it is. Damn, most of my cds are cdr too. So far, no problem yet.

1. Not very durable mechanism to load/unload CDs.... loud and prone to mechanical problems
2. Whats up with all this "Can't play CD-R/CD-W". I saw Nissan Pathfinder 6 disk changer, its clearly labeled "CD/CD-R/CD-W". I can't belive that in 2000+ they still expect people to only listen CDs, not CD-R.... morrnons...
