got a strobe kit put in yesterday i had 4 bulbs in the front and 6 in the back looks sick especially @ nite def worth it.....next is a siren he he...... :cop: :cop: :cop: :cop:

 

Take a picture one night and post it up...let's see how sick it looks when they are on...

i got them at zippos in belleville nj they can run anywhere from 6-800 or more it all depends on how many bulbs u put in they come in sets of 4 bulbs so if u wanna do 8 thats 2 kits etc i went with 10 bulbs all together.......but i know the guy he has been doin work 4 me for yrs so i def get a lil bit of a break but the 6-800 is someone off the street if u wanna get them done i can meet u there one day and u can talk 2 him....keep in mind these r the real deal same as police so u gonna pay alot as u may know my dad is police chief in my town and he order the cars and they pay about 1300 to get strobes put in,..........let me know peace

Isn't that extremly illegal?? or do your cops only care if you drive around with them on??? I guess with your dad being involved with the cops your tiickets might dissappear but what about the rest of the people in your state?? which states are they legal in??

I'm pretty sure a cop would try to conjur up a impersanating police charge if you tried that in Toronto.

 

6-800 for lights you can only turn on in a parking lot, driveway or car show??

my cousin just got strobes on his 03 tl-s done at zippos too, got 12 of them, they look nice, but again its a lotta money for something you can make limited use of...either way they look damn hot...

I'm not trying to start anything. I'm just letting you know that in many peoples eyes strobes are real, real gay. You know what would be better? A cappacino machine in your center console just like on 'Pimp My Ride'. Then you would be the coolest person on this site....lol. especially w/ your dad being chief! someone could bust your dad's balls if you get caught? like, why is the chiefs son zipping around town w/ emergency lights and siren? they are just for show! you can be arrested for impersonating, not to mention someone can take your tag and report you, etc... mayor bloomberg just had the emergency lights and sirens removed from like 100 city officials cars just because some dumb staff member was late for a meeting, and used her police siren and lights to get through traffic , and got busted, resulting in all these other people losing the privelage, and some of them were legit! the only way i would use my strobes and siren on the street, is if my wife calls me w/ a 911! like the dog is in trouble or she's in trouble, like the house being on fire!!!

is a miami metro dade cop, and got pulled over for speeding on his way home on the turnpike by FHP. he put his strobelights on in his off duty car as he was pulled over ( irrelevant to the story ) but, got out in full service uniform w/ firearm, and still got a ticket!!! can you believe that shit!? he even tried to get his super to get him out of the ticket and couldn't! sometimes there's no love between agencies? and some have more power than others!

 

agreed some dont give a shit rather they(cops) sometimes give other cops tixx just to be dix or to prove a point the same can be said for the a local police dept near me where for awile the NJ State PBA was considering throwing them out of the PBA for putiin fellow officers in jail for traffic violations i mean cops r not above the law but its an unwritten rule that u give a fellow officer some privaledges..............
