I used to own a 95 Accord V6 and It was fast but not even close to the TL!! I even test drove a 2002 accord V6 with a dealer guy that said "just floor it!" uuhhhh ok... The 3.0 liter engine is < 3.2 liter TL engine...:o

The v6 accord is like a cheaper version of the TL. Their are a lot of similarities between the two.
Accord 3.0L 200hp
TL 3.2L 225hp
It's like racing your younger brother..

my friends accord v6 is rareity, that **** is pretty damn fast. there is nothing wonrg with my Tlp, i a put it in SS, Tcs off, etc. and its basically tied to 25 mph. i have about a whole hood on him. and by the time we hit 60 i barely have a car length, maybe if that. but u shudnt b scared that they could beat u.

im almost positive they do... that wud b a good race, a 3.0CL VS V6 accord.. hmmm. the thing that sucks, correct me if im wrong, but only the weaker engine model (2.2 or 2.3, not sure) Cl (last generation) came in stick. the 3.0s dont. and im pretty sure its the same thing for the accord V6s. i think only the I4s can come in stick.

You guys should actually try to race a V6 accord before saying oh 200 vs 225 no way. This is what happened when I raced Zodiak in his old TL. We both had a short ram intake. I had better tires. I kept in D3, he shifted in all sorts of different ways vsa on and off.
basically if you race in a 1/4 mile, the tl will probably win by a tiny bit. If you race past like 90mph, the accord (kept in D3) will pull away. The TL's 4th gear is an overdrive gear and really hinders the TL's acceleration past 90-100mph. We raced to about 115mph (floyd bennet field in brooklyn). I won every time. Once he got the same tires as me, it was much closer.. it really dependend on the launch but we were neck to neck, but there were times I won and others he did. Don't forget the TL is also heavier than the accord. So dont talk about something if you have no personal experience with it.

I don't know what the exact numbers are but someone maybe able to figure it out. Check on the power to weight ratio and look at the transmission gearing. It will give you an idea... on paper!! Another huge factor is the DRIVER!! You never know until you actually race!!
