Lightbulb Stock Tire Replacement Suggestions ?

Hi Guys,
I have an 2002 3.2TL Type S and might replace my stock tires, just playing with the idea. Just looking for some ideas, i'm happy with my stocks at the time being but haven't really driven the car aggressive yet. Bridgestones ?

I don't understand why you want to replace it when you have bland new tire...
I think MICHELIN is enough....

songoku- you're right- the stock tire sure is bland

Stock tires SUCK, that's why they need to be replaced. To drive aggressively, you need to replace them right away, plus they suck in rain/snow/dirt/sand/dust/dry... get the point?

I went with Yokohama Avid V4's and I love them. They also look more aggressive due to the size- 215/55/16's.

SP9000's are sweet! They handle so much better than stock in both wet and dry. Never took the car into snow, so I cannot comment there. Otherwise Bridgestone RE730's was originally my first choice b/c they are quiet and reliable too. (picked the Dunlops b/c they were on special..ended up being an excellent choice.) get rid of the stocks if you plan to drive aggressively.

Since I'm going to keep my TLS for quite a while, I think I'm going to keep my stock tires until they wear out (prob. at about 50,000 miles or so). Then I'll buy some better-performing tires as a "gift" to myself that will bring new life to what would then be a 3-4 year old car.

You guys are crazy! Why don't you just wait until you use up your Michelin's? I just don't understand. What will you be doing with your Michelin's after you buy your new tires? I'll buy them from you. Let me know. Thanks!

Cool

one way to get better grip (although it wear out your tires faster) is to deflate it down to 29psi. I find that it 'grips' the road better when I corner.

2001TL Black/black Navigation,
Spoilers, 26 piece wood-trim,
Wood knob, Splash guards,
35% Smoked Tint,
Removed A C U R A
Removed 3.2TL
Just black chrome logo & Jayhawk Licence Plate.
