Stock Stereo Amp

I am about to install my head unit, speakers, etc. but from what i have been told i have to bypass the stock amp in order for my interior speakers to work properly. I am not really sure where it is located. Also will the stock sub still function after intall? Just wondering if someone can shed some light on this subject.

The stock amp is behind the rear passenger seat. Here is a thread with the same question as yours and lots of answers.

Good luck.

the amp is just for the sub. if you just need the door speakers to work, just wire it as you normally would (without an amp)
