Stock Odessey Rims on TL
Hey guys, I was thinking of putting stock Honda Odessey rims on my 2000 TL. These are the five spoke 16" that are on the 2000 Odessey EX and Accords EX models. What do you guys think? I'll post pics if I do it.

They are like a smaller version of the type S rims, but fatter spokes. But I don't see why you putting these on since you have 16s on already. But they do look better than the stock tlp rims.

I have a 2000 TL and the reason for the differnt rims is because two of them have some bad rash. And these look to be easier to maintain, less spaces where break dust can collect. As for why the same size, I am not rich, I can transfer the tires I got now.

bro .. they're MINIVAN rims!!!! are we forgetting this one small, but very important point????????? check ebay for some typeS rims... you gotta be able to find some cheap TL-S rims either on ebay or acura-cl.com

well they aren't just mini van rims, b/c the honda accord V6's come with those same rims, i was thinking about doing the same thing, b/c i have 3 friends with accord v6's and they all have rims on thier cars, so i kinda wanted to take thier stock wheels.... i believe the widths and offset's should be right since the accord is soo similar to the TL....

Hey yield2s, the offset and the width are the same. I thought about the Type-S rims, but I have a couple buddies at the Acura Dealership and they told me that the 17"s will rub in my 2000 TL, in the 2002 and 2003, the TL-P and the TL-S are the same offset, so they will not rub. As for the price of the Accord Ex/Odessey Ex rims, I am picking then up for $275.
