I purchased a blitzsafe unit for an aux input that turned out to be defective. I spoke with a rep at blitzsafe who asked me to pull some fuses to reset the radio. I declined to do that and pulled the neg battery terminal to reset the radio. After putting in my radio code (in an underground parking garage) the radio came back up, CD's play fine, blitzsafe still doesn't work and now FM/AM Stations aren't coming in.

I unplugged the blitzsafe unit, pulled the neg terminal again and put my radio code in and still no FM/AM.

Any thoughts on how I can fix this?

 

Problem solved. Black antenna cable was disconnected.

 

You're the first one I've read about that has had a problem with the blitzsafe. I put one in my daughter's car, and bought one for mine. (still have the blitzsafe, sold the car) The one in my daughter's car quit working, so I swapped in the the other one. The second one quit after a few weeks, and I was going to send it in, but I disconnected or replaced the battery as part of some other, non-related work, and it came back to life. It's done this a couple times now.
