Stock exhaust vs. stock w/resonator removed (video comparison inside)
Did a short comparison video of before and after the resonator removal. You can't tell much of a difference in the video (or at least not on the crappy speakers I have), but it is noticable while driving the car.
I couldn't find a good clip of a 350z or g35 to add in, if anyone knows of a good clip similar to the ones I posted, let me know and I'll add it at the end of my video for a reference.
Enjoy

i stated that as well. Trying to capture the actual sound is very hard. Its much better in person

Sounds nice before and after
I did hear the difference though, sounds sweet. Without the resonator it has a low, throaty rumble.

I could be completely wrong about the above statement, as I have no data to prove anything. Purely assumptions.

you can remove both and the sound isnt bad inside.
And yes the TL-S exhaust is different. Its slightly larger dia

Thanks very much for the vid, bigdo26! Really helps me in deciding on whether or not to remove the resonator.
Just to confirm - speaking downstream of the cat, did you remove the first piece (I'll call it the resonator) or the second piece (I'll call it the mid-muffler)?
Thanks!

The 1st piece after the cat, the one that looks more like a resonator than a muffler (round, not oval).

Put them together, and the whole lower RPM range is covered. If you remove both, I'd imagine you get a little more sound overall, as well as significantly more sound in the lower RPM range (I say this because I notice a larger increase in sound above 3000 RPM after removing the resonator).

When I do my car, I'm going to remove both.

I'm surprised how good the stock TL-S exhaust sounds. My friends have driven away in my car and I don't remember it sounding that good, but they weren't on it though.
I still want to get a Comptech axle back.
Cool video.
