Sticky Throttle

My 02 TL-S continues to have a problem with an off idle sticking throttle. Been to the dealer, can't find a problem; same old song and dance. It is very annoying and possibly dangerous. Anyone else experience this? If I had a hint, I would tackle the fix myself.
Thanks!

The simplest thing I would say to do is get some Gumout and the heck out of the linkage on the side of the throttle body. The throttle cable is pretty long in these cars so make sure theres not a kink in it somewhere along the way.

My '03 TL-s periodically does the same thing, but only the first time you hit the gas after it's been parked for a day or so. What I do to avoid the jump start of a sticky throttle is tap the gas lightly before putting it in gear, and all is fine. I believe these cars are throttle by wire so the problem is probably confined between the pedal and device that sends throttle position data to the throttle body. No big deal for me, I've driven some serious lemon's so there's no problem a TL-S could throw at me that I couldn't solve without taking it to the dealership!!

It's the throttle body sticking.

I had mine replaced under warranty at about 30k miles. Now, at 58K it is starting to stick again.

They know about this problem.
