If i install the Alpine 7863 HU will i be able to use the steering wheel controllers if not is there a way to do so?

 

that unit is last years. get something newer or higher end, like the 65. does that even have a remote? if it does, you can use the factory buttons, if it doesnt, you cant.

There are a couple devices out there that will allow you to use your steering wheel controls as long as the new h/u has i/r remote control. Check www.go2pac.com and look for the SWI-3 (I think that's it). StreetEffectz can get them for you also.
