Question Steering wheel emblem sticker...

A while back someone posted pics of their steering wheel and it had a sicker of the Acura 'A' on their steering wheel.

Does anyone know where I can get myself one?

Becareful changing or adding an emblem to the steering wheel cover. The cover for the air bag pops open real quick. You might wind up with the emblem embedded in your forehead.

Worse still, with the emblem embedded in one of the eyes.

The 99-01 steering wheel did not come with the emblem. It was only an indentation of the acura symbol.

That is not true. Then how can you explain that most car makers have them on the steering wheel? If you look closely at the airbag, it will open below the emblem so that the emblem will not be in the way.

Unless you plan to use some really strong epoxy, it might still pop off with the force of the airbag opening.

Either way, if you are in a position where the airbag deploys then you have a bigger problem than an emblem.

BTW, so what do the car manufacturer use to put those emblem on the steering wheel without it popping off when the airbag deploys?

most car manufacturers have the entire airbag cover molded as one unit. There are usually no emblems attached rather the airbag cover has the emblem cast into it.
They do this just for the reason stated above, you dont want an emblem logded in your throat, forhead, or eye.

I don't want to sound like a turd(maybe I do)

Remember, if it is the OEM emblem that took out your eye, you know who you can sue. But if your epoxy is not strong enough to hold the emblem, you'll have to live with one eye for life with no compensation in your pocket.

I have one on my car it isn't even an emblem, it is a sticker therefore it would hardly go through your forehead anyway.
