Steering system leak at rotary valve

Figured I'd move this into the right generation's category, originally posted in the 3rd gen. My steering system in my 02 Type S is leaking at the boot right where the rotary valve meets the steering rack housing.

Looking like it is right in the neighborhood of parts 2 or 34 in the B-33-60

Hope somebody here can give me a hand, has anybody done a remove/replace on this with a write up? Understand I will likely have to drop the rack, is it as easy as draining the PS reservoir, and replacing seals after lowering rack?

Thinking about what I saw last night, there was fluid around the lockring of the return line from the pump. Could it be possibly as simple as tightening that back down?? Will update when I try at home.

Yeah, could possibly be a fitting or o-ring leaking. Clean everything up and recheck for fresh leaks.
