Steering Rod Replaced

About 1 week after my car was delivered, there was a loud sound coming from under the hood and it was hard to steer. I went to the dealer for a service and guess what? They found a burr on my steering rod tearing the seal which causes the power steering fluid to leak. Manufacturer's defect. It had to be replaced (of course under the warranty, Also both tail pipes were adjusted. Car wash and vacuum was nice, do you also get one after an oil change?). But I was disappointed. I expected a perfect workmanship form Acura or at least close to a perfect. May be my expectation was too high!? I haven't seen a similar problems like mine so far. May be I am the only one!? Anybody with a similar problems?

if you look at the lifestyle here in america : when they encounter a problem, they look for someone to blame.

Hello,
I believe it happens on some vehicles. My TLS's AC
isn't working after only 29 days of ownership and
dealer is stilling finding the problem.

Hopefully, it isn't a big problem.
I do believe Honda that made in Japan has better
quality. My US-made 98 Accord EX-V6 had a lot of rattles and
squeak in the first year of ownership. Although it
is not a big thing that can compromise the safely
and engine reliable, it does make you wonder if you
are really buying a new car. My 89 Integra and my sister's
91 Accord were running well and solid and they were both
made in Japan.
But for the exterior/interior layout/engine power/price, TLS
is still the best choice among the similiar class. But I guess
I may need to live with the fact that its built quality isn't as
good as others like Lexus or even those made-in-Japan Hondas.
Just my 2 cents
