Unhappy start up problems

Every so often, when I try starting my 99TL, it ignites, but then the idle quickly drops to about 500, then stalls. I have to basically gas it at start up and keep the rpm up, to get it started.
But, once I do get it started, it runs fine.

I've taken it to the dealer about 4 times now, and they've run a bunch of tests on the fuel system. They say that they can't find a problem; especially since my check engine light never came on.

Does anyone have any suggestions and/or similar experiences?

Thanks.

I had the same problem a while ago but what happened was after it stalled...the engine would not start and if it did...it stalled again. I went and bought new spark plugs Bosch Platinum 4's and that fixed the problem. Not sure if it's your sparks though...just a suggestion.
