stalled?

i started my engine and it was at it's normal temp because i had been driving it before. It was shaking a bit just like how my dads M3 shakes before it stalls. My car suddenly turned off and my power steering and power brakes all that didnt work. It wasn't that big of a deal because i just started it back up again but what caused my car to stall?

Umm, year/model/mileage/condition/etc? Were you driving at the time or parked?

Are you referring to the hot soak (I think that's what it's called)?

If so, it has nothing to do with ULEV.

all i know is that there is a restarting problem with some tl's....when im driving my car, shut it down then start it a few minutes later, it either feels like its going to stall or it does
usually when i feel its going to stall i give it press the gas and keep the rpm's for a few seconds and then its fine again.
