Supposedly, when in SS mode, the trans shifts 10% faster than if left in D5. Kind of like the ETC button in Toyotas. If it can electronically control how fast it shifts... what's keeping us from modifying it so SS shifts 100% faster than D5. That would be much better than tearing down the tranny.

that would be super, but i think whats stopping us is that no one seems to have been able to decipher the ECU so that all these things can be done... just think, we'd also be able to do 1->2 shift! c'mon guys... someone out there has to be able to do this... the car has been out for almost 4 years.

does anyone know if the TLS is using a standard protocol like the CAN or something? anyone here from a shop that knows about these things? why dont we have any reps from honda motors on this board anyway (anyone wana donate some money and an oscilloscope?.. i'd be willing to program a chip to do these things if i could decypher the protocols )
