SRS lights

alrite i don't know how i got this but lets see if u guys can help me out. well iwas trying to install my pioneer avic n3 and wanted to mount the brain underneath the passenger seat. so i unplugged all the wires dat goes to the seat and when i put everything back together and connected the battery, started the car and the SRS lights came on???? how that happen, did i do something to damage it? can i turn that off myself or do i have to go to the dealer to get that done????
helpl me guys. this light is driving me nutsss.

i kinda figure it was that one. i wasn't ready to reset it yet. because once i get the HU back i'm goin to take that seat out again and the light is gonna come up again. apreciate it bro. knowing me i probably would've went to the dealer to get this reset.

Reset it. Then before you take out the seat just disconnect the battery. (like you should be doing)

oh yea thats a must (disco battery) well the SRS lights gonna come back on no matter wat.

Unless there is a problem with something it wont come on if you disconnect the battery before you remove the seat. Leave it disconnected until you get the seat back in.

ah i see. yea wat i did was, i disco the battery and then i took the seat out and when i connected the battery first to see if the HU was all good. and then i install the seats bak in. cool i'll reset it then i'll do wat u said. thanks bro.

any time power is disrupted to a SRS component it will throw a CEL unless the battery is disconnected first.
