SRS Light On, Should I Worry

I don't have an owner manual. My SRS light be on recently. What does it mean? Should I do anything about it or is it nothing to worry about. Thanks for the help.

go to a dealer, get is checked out. SRS is your airbags.

actually go to a few dealers, they all told me differnt sh*t.

but my light is not on anymore, so Im happy.

If you did something to cause it to trip (electrical work), then reset it. If not, take it to the dealer for service.

...recommend u get it checked. if u tripped it yourself, search for the DIY on here...

btw, it means your airbags are currently disabled.
and, get an "owner" manual so your light "don't be" on anymore!

Yes, the SRS light means disabled airbags. Not just one of them, ALL of them. Your life is not worth the risk, take it to the dealer immediately.

I don't think the owner's manual describes the process of resetting the SRS light.

If your car still in warrantee, bring to the dealers. Chances are, the sensor under passenger seat is not working. Dealer will replace new sensor with no charge.
