I have read that neons cause the sensor to set the light off...I'm not sure if LEDs would have the same effect. Take it to the dealer and have them figure it out.

maybe something is wrong with the passenger seat...there are sensors i nthere to determine how to fire the airbags in case of an accident.

I went to the dealer to check it out this morning and the technician found no defected air bag sensor or associated electronics. I knew after reading a few post regarding that neon light is interfering with the sensor. I had blue LED wire run from the storage arm rest power outlet through the steering column wheel. I think that was the root cause. It can suck that I can't run the wiring there. Anyone know how to reset the red SRS light by yourself?

hchhon, I posted about this once before, if you search maybe you can find it.

anyway, an installer friend of mine and I experienced this problem many times with Honda/Acura. he finally called the dealer to figure out what the deal was. the cause effecting us was having the battery disconnected too long. (ie anything longer than 30 minutes could cause your SRS lights to come on.)

there are many Honda/Acura specialists that will reset for about $35. I have a helms at home, it may describe the procedure, but usually its tedious, but only takes 5 minutes.

good luck, hope this helps.
