Angry Squeaky seats 2000 TL

Just had my vehicle in for diagnostics on this KNOWN issue. Dealer solution: "put some hand soap where the seat back and bottom come together". Its obvious that there is an internal squeak in the seat, and this is Acura's solution! Can anyone help. I am thinking of trying to escalate this matter within Acura. Is there a known fix?

dude, just goto www.alldata.com and look up acura tl and it will list that problem with the dealer fix, print out the sheet and take it to them, thats what i did, the fix is to actually wrap the frame of the seat with velour , it worked for me!!

Alldata Info

Wondering how you got that information from Alldata. Their web site says they don't provide info on Acuras.

"Note: Currently, information is available for Model Years 1982 to 2001. 2002 Model Year information is scheduled to be released in late Summer. Unfortunately, information for Honda, Acura and BMW is not available to consumers through the ALLDATA DIY by request of the each manufacturer. "
