squeaky arm rest

my armrest (front) seems to squeak every time i put my arm on it and its really annoying me. any suggestions guys? thanks

don't put your arm on it!

You could take it apart and retigten some of the nuts - I had the same thing happen, but it's all good now.

Mine squeaks with the pressure from my arm, and the damn lumbar support lever. As soon as i raile the lumbar lever, no squeak.

Could this be where your squeak is coming from?

Sounds like a couple of loose screws. Tighten all of them up and it should be fine.

Remove the armrest from the console. Remove every screw in the armrest and wrap it with teflon tape (plummer's tape). Reassemble the armrest and reinstall in the car. No more noises.
