In the last couple of days a squeling sound occurs when im driving. It sounds like its coming from the brakes or wheels like something is rubbing. I went to midas a couple of months back and asked for new brakes but they said i was fine for another 10k and i just needed resurfaced so i did that. Im thinking that they r really badly warped but idk. another thing is recently i have been getting a lot more brake dust on my rims then usual. I am in college now so i dont have many for huge upgrades. im just trying to keep the car running strong.

 

does it only occur when you are breaking or driving?

 

it first was only when i slowed down for turns but now its most of the time when im driving even when im not using the brakes

 

When you hit the brakes does the sound go away? It sounds to me like the sensors telling you it's time for a pad replacement.

the same thing happens to me too. I took it to the shop and they said that my brake/pads are fine. Does ur problem go away once the brakes warm up? And sometimes its worst for me when dust gets into the pad

 

idk it occurs randomly. it occurs most when i turn or after i make a turn but the sound is deffielty coming from the wheels. its not a belt or anything.
