Just scored a TL!
After months of wanting a TL I finally came across a really good deal on a white 99 TL-P with 78,000 miles for $2000!. The car needs a new transmission. The guy didnt drive it anymore because of that so it just sat at his house and he wanted to get rid of it. The car is in pretty good condition, it just need a really good detail and some minor body work. The car already has tein basic suspension and 02-03 tail lights and rims. Im planning on swapping the rims out with type s rims shortly. Sorry no pics yet.
Now for the good part:
I work in the service department at the local Honda Dealership so I had the car towed there to have the transmission replaced for a cheaper price than outside. The extended warranty for the tranny expired about 5 months ago but luckly we were able to pull some strings at acura so now the tranny is going to be covered by warranty!
so i pretty much scored

The rims are nice and all but I dont want to be driving around and people think its the guy I bought the car from. I think the car looks a lot cleaner with the Type S rims. Plus my friend owns his own bodyshop and he need rims for his car so hes gonna do all the body work and paint for the rims. Which is the front and rear bumper, the hood, and the rear fender on the passenger side.

That is a great deal you got, especially getting the tranny fixed for free and the Tein and rims.

I always just hear about them. Great find
