Squeaking/rattling from driver's side window

My driver's side window has a slight squeak/rattle. Not loud and not a big deal, but since it is right in my ear, it is annoying.

If I lower the window slightly (ie, 1mm or less), there is no squeak/rattle. Likewise, if I push out slightly on the top of my window with my fingertips, the squeak/rattle stops.

Anybody know what could be causing this and, more importantly, know a quick, inexpensive fix for this? Thanks!

I have this, too, and I attribute it to the window seal having slumped or just not fitting properly. It is one of the only rattles I typically have when going down the road. I've tried to "beef up" that upper corner of the seal to eliminate any play between it and the window, but nothing has worked particularly well. I think replacing the seal might work, but I'm not sure. The other possibility is that the mechanism has allowed the window to slump and thus no longer fits tight in the window frame - but I don't think this is my issue. Would love to get some feedback on this as well...

Mine tends to be worse when the car has sat in the sun - which is part of the reason why I think it has something to do with the seal having shrunk...

just put the window down about 2 inches and clean the top of it, then wipe some silicone (spray it onto a rag) into the window groove and it should seal fine..

^^
I've tried this and thought at the time it was the simple solution - but it didn't work in my case. It's a good suggestion though if you have this problem...
