hey guys, I'm noticing a constant squeaking noise on the driver's seat. It's coming from the front of the seat, right under the right side of the head rest (directly under it). The right side is when you're looking from the front of the car into the car. Anyhow, I have found the squeak because I can push my finger on it, and it always squeaks. Anyway to fix this?

Does anyone else have this problem?

 

Take it to the dealer....

I had mine fixed twice....

 

or check the DIY section here. I had the seatbelt squeak, fixed it with some lube. Probably going to try the DIY thing when I have time.

 

Don't think it is the sealbelt. More like the cushion or springs inside the seat. I don't think you can fix it yourself. Bring it to the dealer. But the sad thing is, once they mess with your seat, your leather will never look the same. All wrinkled up.

 

are you sure it's not just your dealer? I would think that if they remove the leather, they can put it back on properly. If they mess up the leather, I'll be soooo pissed.

 

I'd be pissed too if the dealer made it look worse.

 

yah i suspect it's a spring that needs lubrication or replacement. I'm so f*cking pissed at North toronto acura. they put the squeak tape on my sunroof, and 6 months down the road, it's squeaking again.

are they dumb or stupid at that dealer???? I'll never go back there.

you have that squeaking noise also? What the hell is going on with Acura??? I suspect this will happen again once I get it fixed the first time. And it's one of the annoying squeaks, because even with the music blasting you still hear it. That's because it's literally beside your head, so you hear it all the time.

 

it cant be fixed forever...once the tape wears away...then its gonna squeak again...i think mines slowly coming back...but its not the dealers afault..its a design flaw in the car

 

and the list of design flaws go on!!!
