Sounds reasonable to me. What area of the country are you from? Labor in DC averages $75-100 a flat rate hour. At the dealer I worked at we generally charged a little more labor on aftermarket items because they were usually more difficult to install than tock stuff.
Very rarely did anyone complain about our labor charges.

Do it yourself. Look up DIY instructions and tackle away. If you need help, feel free to shoot me an IM at GrandPrixC. I'll help you step-by-step.
Not only will you save money, but you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you did it yourself.

Let's take a coilover suspension swap for example. You would take the factory strut assemblies off the car and replace with the aftermarket coilovers which are direct replacements.
How is that any different than replacing the factory strut assemblies (if blown or for whatever reason) with new factory strust assemblies? It's the exact same task.
I'm not trying to blame you or anything at all. I just don't understand the whole concept of "aftermarket = automatically higher labor charge".

Pure Adrenaline-
First off, let me say I'm unfamiliar with this brand of spring. Most of the suspension work we did was Comptech parts, which fit perfectly. There were some other brands that my performance technicians did not like installing because they took more time to do, because they weren't a 'drop in' repair like OEM parts tend to be.
I seem to recall that most of the springs & shocks were not brought to us as complete asemblies, which meant we had to remove the springs from the shocks and install new springs on already installed shocks, etc.
I would wholeheartedly agree that a drop-in coil over shock assembly shouldn't take too long, and those I'm sure were priced accordingly.
Hell, they're usually easier to install, since they're physically shorter.
Just relating my experience is all. Again, we rarely had anyone upset with our prices.
