NeoTLS (Toronto) has had Spoon calipers on his 2ng gen TL since as long as I can remember (2001?). Not that big a deal (to me, at least).

If looking for a good upgrade in calipers at a great price
Gen2 TLs can use 95 Legend LS Coupe 2 piston calipers
rebuilts are about 75 each- same as TL calipers
You swap them Left for Right on the install so bleeder is on top
Use TL brackets TL pads
This thing is a stopping machine now!

Are they really 1500. Thats a lot might as well get the BBK for that money or save a ton and get the legend calipers.

i think they are 4 piston.... but like it was said above they are wicked expensive and u could get a full bbk for that price from rotora. I'm still going to go the legend caliper route. For around 200 u can get brand new 2 piston calipers, add in some slotted rotors and pads and for under 500 u can have a brand new 2 piston setup, and cheaper if u get the refurbished calipers or find some junkyard specials

Kragen rebuilt rayebestos pro grade
95 Legend LS Coupe-

Use the TL brackets and TL pads
Swap the calipers left for right on install so the bleeder is on top

I found the calipers on partsamerica.com for $89.99 each but it includes the pads. The only ones that I saw without the pad, also didn't have the installation bracket. Not sure if it would work without the bracket or not but those were only $62.44. There was also a core charge, so I wonder if you could swap out the calipers, make sure everything works right, then turn the TL calipers in for the core charge.

You dont need the bracket. Buy them get charged for the core, remove yours, install new ones and return yours. Thats the way i would do it.

That's what I was hoping to hear. I just wasn't sure if they would fit the TL bracket, but since it does, that makes it even easier. Thanks.

i'm talking with my parts guy at the dealership here in RI since he gives me 20% off the list price, i'm just confirming with him that the parts are brand new and not refurbished if so looking at 74 bucks a caliper plus 60 core charge. He just is not 100% sure if acura will refund the core for the tl caliper on a legend caliper but if these are new i will try it and see what happens and go from there.

Anything that takes a CORE charge is rebuilt- why do you think they want your old ones??

kragen less likely to know the diff in returned parts- use them
Just get the raybestos pro grade rebuilts

All these things are is a tiny piston and a few orings!
Rebuilt is fine- $72 at kragen online

REMEMBER you MUST run the left caliper on right side of car and the right on left,
that puts the bleeder nipple on top
The legend bracket does not fit

TL bracket TL pads are the right item
95 legend ls coupe has closest together piston size= we want that
