spoiler install diy

i know there is already a thread on this in the diy page but i'm a complete noob and need detailed steps. it's the oem spoiler, i have an '02 type-s.

so where exactly am i supposed to drill the holes, which screws are recommended, how do i wire the light, how do i get the case on the trunk that covers the wiring, etc...

thank you so much.

p.s. out of interest, how much would something like this cost to get installed in a shop?

theres 3 holes on the left side of the trunk, 2 on the right.

the middle hole in the left side is where the wires for the led light go through

as for the wiring.. you gotta do some splicing.

You'll also need a special tool to install the new torsion springs. I had mine done at the dealer for like $60. But I got an employee discount so I'm not sure what they actually charge.

the pilots for the holes are inside the trunk... just point and drill!

if it's OEM you should have a plug and play harness.

springs are the toughest part...
