Hi all

I just bought a 2002 TL Type-S and it does not have a trunk spoiler. Is there anyone that has bought one of the spoilers that is sold on ebay or are they to good to be true?

Which ones are you buying from ebay, both OEM and aftermarket copy cats are sold on there. OEM comes with the trunk spring and aftermarket does not. Also the look alike is slightly heavier. I heard from people who has aftermarket that its good as the OEM.

 

I bought an aftermarket from ebay (spoilerdepot.com) and it was fine. Got it painted and drilled the holes myself. Pretty easy. Under the trunk lid on both ends are 2 paint bumps so you know where the holes are to be drilled. I guess they put it there so there cant be any possible confusion. Also, the look is pretty much the same as an OEM, though I did hear people say that the OEM brake light led is longer or something. No one can tell the difference. Just make sure you buy from somewhere real. A feedback of 10 means a broken spoiler.

 

I got mine from Ebay for $180 shipped it was the WW and it's beautiful.
