Thumbs down Spoiler Came OFF!

For a while I thought someone had tried to rip my spoiler off. Today, after not driving the car for about a week, the spoiler came off totally. After further inspection, I find it extremely hard to believe that my spoiler was ripped off. I think the damn spoiler was just made with SHITTY material. I can't believe it. Now I have to go to the dealer tomorrow and fight with them cuz they insisted someone tried to rip it off.

A/C, do you still have the spoiler or was it lost when it came off?

What is the point of "Warranty" if they are going to blame on the owners all the time. Tell them to %^ck themselves and ask that same qestion to them.

ps good luck with your car.

Thanx for all the support guys. I still have the spoiler. It didn't rip off while I was driving. I hit the trunk release with my key thingy and pulled the trunk by the spoiler as usual and the whole right side just came off. Man, I tell you. I'm gonna be fighting hard tomorrow cuz I know they'll say "someone tried to rip it". I hate dealers for this reason...you never get the benefit of the doubt.

Well guys...I'm SOL! They won't warranty it. I can't drive the car cuz the spoiler will fly off, I'm sure. So my other alternative was let the dealer sell me one at what they claim cost. Painted OEM for $375...no install cuz I'm gonna save me $70 by doing it myself. This sucks, I never imagined I would shell out money for factory crap.

Thats really funny because when I told my dealer I can get a spoiler after market for $350 vs their $700 he said, "Yes, but ours is warrantied"

Can't you use some 3M tape to just tape it back? At least that's an alternative rite?
I am not sure about the kinda spoiler you have... but my friend have no screw on his spoiler... Just used the tape... Had been sort of flying at 120+miles and it was fine...

Well the way it looks, the 2 right side screws are stuck to the trunk and the spoiler is just dangling. I thought about taping it but don't think that's going to work. Thanx though. Oh, I have a factory spoiler.

Call Acura Customer Service, from Acura company, not dealer and explain the situation. Also mention that at least some dealers are stating the Spoiler is under warranty because the dealer put it on.

Not a problem... but damn... they should warranty it for you... Damn lousy Acura dealers...

The M3 tape might hold the thing for you for a little while. But then again, the tape is kinda hard to clean up.... Let us know what happens...

Go with the M3 tape. It's much better than 3M tape. It adds an extra 10hp because of the name. Remember, M3's are FAST!

Damn.... I been thinking about M3 all day long... I guess that shows somehow...

Oh, btw the M3 tape will only add about 1hp or 2. But get 50 extra horses by adding the M3 badge. Another 100 hp if replace all visiable Honda/Acura badge, label to Bring Me Women. Oh... don't for get the GT behind the M3 badge gives another 40 and CLS will save you about 400lbs...

just j/k..... and sorry for the typo... I guess I will just leave it as the way it is.. all in good fun..
