well bought a AEM CAI today for my tl, and saw these speed chips, this one was for 12 bucks, so i bought it, but do u guys think it really works or no? bought it from this guy cuz hes the only one who would ship to canada, so u think they actually work? i searched an old thread here and saw how peeps were sayin its just a scam, but reading feedback on ebay buyer, i duno, im two sided, help plz!

i'll give you a speed chip for .05 a nail in your tire, it will send your car quickly to a shop to get it fixed, that is exactly what a friggin 12.00 chip would do or it will do nothing like a piece of shit on the bottom your shoe, other than stink. hahahhaa

 

First rule of thumb for TL owners: you trust the senior guys here who know their stuff. If your research here shows that its all scam, why would you believe feedback on ebay buyer? Either the info we provide is correct, or it's wrong. You can't sit on the fence on this issue - this $12 chip either provides gains or it doesn't. And we're telling you it doesn't. And the saying goes, "If it's too good to be true, it usually is."

 

The closest to a "chip" we have available for our cars is the Unichip and that one goes for about 450-500 dollars.

dont ever trust those speed chip module....those dont work unless your engine is fixed up...but yeah 12 chip is a POS....the closest one is unichip like pure adrenaline....

got the speedchip just last week and put it in. now my car pulls like mad. went and got it dynoed and i am now getting 350hp at the wheels!!! then i noticed that it came with a sticker. so i slapped that bad boy on my window and went to get it dyoned again an now i have 375hp at the wheels all for $12!!!!! dis shit is da bomb. i eat porches for breakfast. only down part is that i have to buy new tires every month.

i know this thread is getting old but u can have your ecm tuned at jet chip for like 200-300 dollars. your power ratings will vary depending on what mods u tell them about. i havnt done it because i would be out of a car for too long

my system, pride n joy, 2200 cdn (2 amps, 1800 watt mono amp, 600 watt 4 channel, 1 farad cap, 4 blaupunkt 6 1/2, 2 12s 600 watt cadence audio subs. panasonic 7000 series deck, 04 model/motorized)

then i slapped on the 18 inch, nakayama rsx-5, wrapped with pirelli p nero zero

minor things: wood grain dash kit, interior LED white blubs, purple neons under passenger/driver/rear seats with music module dancer, new rare shifter.

engine, aem cai, and thermoblok gaskets (just bought batch 4 megans, for 2 bills USD ) didnt slap those on yet. and the best thing about ALL of this, is that i installed everything myself (except the system, was free) and im 19, did most of it when i was 18. so bitch dont hate, my tl-p can own yours in about a year time faggot, go crash ur tl-s into a ditch faggot
