I know that technically the 2007 is a third gen, but I thought it might be okay to post here since the last TL-S was the 2nd gen 2002-2003 models.

But give it up to Acura guys, they've dropped in a 3.5 SOHC engine that pumps out 286 HP under the new SAE. The regular 3rd gen TL pumps out 258 HP under the NEW SAE.

I think under the new SAE 2002-2003 TL-S are close to 250 HP or so stock.

You think mating or j32A engines to an MDX j35 block would get close to the same amount of horsepower as the new Type-S'?
