Specific question about LEDs
Yes I did search but couldn't find a definitive answer. I know resistors or flashers are needed if you replace the turn signals with LEDs to avoid the hyper blinking. I want to know if you replace the reverse, stop light, high beam, parking, fog light bulbs with LEDs, will it cause the bulb out warning or any issues to appear?
Brake lights will turn on brake lamp warning, back up and parking should be fine. I don't think leds have enough output to use as fog lights or high beams. You can probably use resistors to fool the brake lamp module.
led fogs...never heard of em, stick with halogens down there is a yellow temperature for better sight when there is really foggy conditions lmao. I've got all the interior lights swapped out to LED as well as the reverse lights. the reverse is quite a change imo. I'm waiting on the shop I hang around at to order the CREE bulbs for my rear tails until I can do a full LED tail setup. IDk about high beam LED's, but I would leave the rest of the bulbs up front stock cus really there is no point to change them unless you do a custom projector housing type setup.
