Cool A-SPEC Test Drive

As some of you may already know I've been looking to upgrade to a 3rd generation TL. Originally I was looking to purchase it through a private seller to save a few $$$ but I decided to check out a dealer this weekend since the search is taking longer then expected. To my surprise the dealer actually had an 04 A-Spec sitting on the lot, which I had to test drive. To my surprise the performance of the A-spec couldn't even touch the performance of my current TL. Now I do realize that my current TL has all the bells and whistles but throttle response was slow (in auto shift mode), braking power was weak, there was a significant amount of body roll during turns. What's up with that? Does anyone else share the same opinion?

i dont know, i tested a regular auto 3rd gen TL and everything about it seemed better than my TL... the brakes were wayyy more responsive reminded me of my 04 accord i love those brakes.. my TL's are really soft and doesnt have a really direct feel and acceleration.. wow it would easily smoke my TL and the suspension had less roll than my car..

KEEP IN MIND I HAVE A STOCK 00 TL.. not a type S

the throttle response could be attributed to possibilty that most people who drove the car before didnt harass it telling the engine and tranny to accelerate in a more smooth manner... after a bit of aggressive driving the car should liven up.. i would think.
