I thought you need more than just VIN to order any A-Spec parts.

$470 is too good of a price to believe. The best price I could get from the dealer (if he could sell it to me) was $750ish + taxes. The A-Spec spoiler retails for like $1,200 or so. Who's your contact? If the price is firm, I'd like to get one too...at $470, it's a steal.

Good luck Alien. Several people have tried to get stuff, from Sales and Parts dept employees no less at a Canadian Acura dealer and have had no luck at all. Seems that Acura is really fussy about this stuff. They didn't make any extra accessories for the cars, since they all come with everything.

they are the same, except the a-spec spoiler has two red lights which stay on solid when you have the headlights on the car on. I must say that when you're on city roads at night, it attracts many ppl to race you. One day I stepped outside the car to take a look, and I realized why ppl always want to race. It makes the back look very sporty, and so far there's no other car that has this type of design on it.

IMO the a-spec kit is much hotter looking!!!

but I would think the mugen kit would be much cheaper since there is not a "limited" supply of them, versus the a-spec only producing so much for their 800 manufactured a-spec's.
