Speaker help!!!

I have a 2000 3.2 TL with a unfortunate speaker problem. I got the car a month ago and noticed a cord hanging from under the steering wheel but I simply paid it no mind and tucked it back in the dash. A week later i get in the car and play the radio but the speaker on the drives door and rear will not play. But I the rights side speakers and the subwoofer still work! I know there not broken because they didn't pop or blow like normal car speakers would. I need help getting the drivers side speakers to work. Does anybody have any clues or suggestion before I take a trip to my dealer????
THX!

With the bill you get from the dealer, it's best to use that money and go to an audio shop and get a whole new system installed. No kiddin'.

But you can fix this yourself. Check out the audio forum here and you will find instructions to pull your door panels off to see if the speakers are connected. You can also take the dash trim off, pull out the radio and confirm that the speaker wires are connected to the doors. If not, then you can easily run a new wire to the door speaker. If you go this route, ask me and I will tell you an easy way to do this....easy 10 min job. Yesterday I installed new speakers and ran new speaker wires to my 2000 tl.

If you are not handy, then an audio shop will easily fix this for a good price.

Yup you gotta take apart the door...its 2 screws...and check the connections, if that doesnt work you gotta take apart the dash and check the cables at the head, at worst you have replace the cable, if it sounds like fun, its because it is fun
