Hey everyone,

so I have a 00 TL and also just got a 03 TL. On my 03 TL I started to add stuff to it, got HID's for it and also got some 18" rims but now I want to lower the car to removed the gap between the tires....

Can anyone direct me how low should I go and which springs should I buy... I was thinking to go 1.5" lower on front and back...

You want a spring and shock combo or coilovers? Hit up the black market and check out the vendors for what they have. Or find a used set. I'd say grab some coilovers if you intend to lower the car further in the future.

If you just want to reduce the gap go with Koni shocks and H&R sport springs. If you want to go lower get coilovers.

My favorite shock/spring combo is the tokico sturts and tein s-tech springs.

i just got got koni yellow on eibach pro on the medium perches, less than a week, not fully set in, and i only have 1.5 finger gap on stock dimensions. (long slim fingers lol). i'd imagine the same combo dropped down on the lower perch settings of the koni would pretty much slam the shit out of the car.

also, i've never heard a single negative thing about koni yellows, ever. in all my time on forums since like 2006. lifetime warranty, and eibach are gimmickly guaranteed for a million miles or kilometers, so lifetime essentially.
