Spacers or no spacers?

I just received my racing hart evo c2's a few days ago, and was installing them today when i found that the inside of the spokes of the front rims just barely touched my front callipers. when i say barely, I really mean it.... it there was 1.5mm more of clearence, I think it would be fine. I did some reading on acura-cl.com, and it looks as if i have 2 options.... 1st would be to install spacers on my front wheels, and second would be to take a dremel and grind down the outside of my callipers a little, and then repaint them.
It seems as if the others who had the same problem as me only had this problem when they had new brake pads, and that once the pads had less than 70% left, it would no longer be an issue. Unfortunately, I just had my pads replaced about 1,000 miles ago, so I still have a ways to go.
Anyway, I will also be installing my comptech springs later this week, so I was concerned that adding a spacer would make it likely for the wheels to rub (they are only a 44 offset). also, it seemed as if many people felt that using spacers is a "bad thing" and that you should try to avoid it if possible... sorry for the run-on post, but I am just trying to see what others woudl do if you were in my position.

btw, rims are 19s, tires are 225s

I have the same rims, just add 5mm spacers on the front, it will be all good.

Is your car dropped? you have the 44 offset, right? (Adding a 5mm spacer would make it a 39 offset, which i think would definitly rub with a drop)

just add a thin mm spacer and you should be good. i had the same problem when i was considering c2 evos, but they had 235s on them so i decided against them.

Yeah im dropped on H&R sports, I'm pretty sure the spacers i have on the fronts are 5mm, no problem at all. I don't have spacers on the back. 5mm is very very thin. Yeah they are the same size rims as yours 19x7.5 +44 running 225/35/19
