Just Curious....what's your System-Setup?

 

I've got the Cerwin-Vega 10" Vega 104 Subwoofer for lows....the Hi-Fonics 320 watt bridgable amplifier and 4-gauge Monster Cable wiring. I used to use the Pioneer 8500 CD receiver, but now using a DIN unit in a Double DIN setup doesn't seem like the brightest idea to me. I dunno. Anyway, everything else's the same! With the right box, that 10" Vega confuses even the most asute audiophile into believing I've got a 15" in my trunk! Now that's a cool setup! No TV's yet but someday it's a possiblility!!!!!!

I'm waiting to put my Kicker 12" Solobaric that I had in my old car into the TL. Also, have a Punch 150 with a 1 Farad (no name) capacitor. It doesn't sound like a lot of wattage, but that capacitor makes a huge difference. I need to get quality wiring for the system - can't wait!

 

I'm waiting for my focal 165W fronts and rears...and am really waiting for the JL audio w7 12" sub. All will be running off an xtant amp for the sub...and an orion for fronts and rears.

Well, It looks like I am going to have the famous street Effectz install my system. He suggested the Focals for the Front. I am going to get the 165w. For the rear speakers I am going to leave stock and use just as fill in. For the Sub I am deciding on the 8inch or 10inch alumapro. I would power these speakers with a Soundstream Picasso Amp.

I am not looking to outpound anything. I enjoy listening to music in my car, I am in the car just about 7 days a week. I want great quality sound for in the car.

Anyone know how to get rid of trunk rattles? My trunk(the actual part that lifts up) rattles pretty bad. Anything I can do or buy to fix it?

Nate is it possible to get that Acura Box by itself? How much was it? I may want to try something new for my 10" Vega Sub.

 

My Fosgates slumping pretty loud, I'm scared my rear view mirror is gunna fall off soon. I used from dynomat spray on my trunk, doesnt seem to help all that much, my trunk is rattling like crazy.

Future upgrade: Maybe some pioneer 6x9 4-ways or MB quarts components for my mids and highs.

Haha, you thought it was stock! Its an Alumapro BP-10. I doubt you can buy just the box since box is made specifically for that speaker.

I put on black chrome emblems recently and since I have the Mugen grill on front I had an extra black chrome front emblem. So I took off the chrome emblem on the sub (previously was a trunk emblem) and put on the much bigger black chrome one.

That box is really cool! Anyone here build custome boxes? I've got a Cerwin-Vega V-104 10" Sub that puts out 300 Watts RMS and 600 Watts Max. The thing really has good low bass like 18db range maybe even 17db and I forget how high its frequency can extend. I can check if you need it.

 

Vision, you can't buy the black chrome emblems seperate from Acura, you have to buy the whole kit. The regular chrome trunk emblem I used to have on there was $10 or so.

 

This is truely amazing... I have the exact same sytem you do... and I think it has 4 speakers and a sub... wow... LOL
