When I used to have my Integra GS-R, someone stole my "DOHC VTEC" badge off the back. I was sooo pissed not because they took the badge so much as they scratched the crap out of my paint to take it off. I'm sorry to hear that your badge got taken. I hope this never happens to my TL-S. But with ricers prevalent everywhere these days, you never know......

Head on over to the Accessories section at the top of the page. Snook sells Type-S emblems if you want to replace it (like 20 bucks I think). Oh and yeah, UCI is ricer heaven , I try to avoid that area, just like The Block.

Sorry about that, man. But as mentioned in prev posts, it's bound to happen.....and feel good that no paint is damaged, and that it's not your HIDs that are gone....

Check the local slammed Civics - I'm sure that's where you'll find your type-S badge.

I like the debadged look - hopefully they didn't screw up your paint and you can leave it like it is.

Just the other day I saw a nice 99-01 gen tl on the road. It was WDP with a full skirt, tinted windows, and clear upper tails. Nice wheels too. Then I noticed that they slapped a Type-S badge on it. That ruined it for me.

With all the mods on it I wouldn't be surprised if they are member here.

A riced out TL, it just doesn't sound right. What a shame.

That's the exact reason I took my 3.2TL Type-S emblems off. I wasn't so much worried about the badges being stolen, it was the damage to the paint that concerned me. I took it off a week after I got it, and personally I like it better. It seems to balance out the rear of the car......

Some btich got mine sometime between yesterday and today too! I walked out and felt a disturbanc ein the force, checked the back and sure enough it was gone. Of course there was a riced out Civic parked right next to me for the last two days--but I can't profile, right?

Now I'm wondering whether to replace or juat take the 3.2CL off as well.

Problem with this is that the RSX and the RSX type s are almost indistinguishible visually so I bet we are going to lose a lot of our badges to those punks too. Damn.

put your car in the sun until it gets hot. then just peel it off using a credit card or dental floss. or you can use a hair dryer at low heat to do it slowly
