so Who are VA TYPE-S Drivers

I have seen several TYPE S drivers in VA, I wonder who drives TLS. Let me know because when I was at TYSONS I saw Silver Type S, route 50, I saw Black Types S. When ever I cruise I rarely sees Type S drivers. But looks unique. So exactly how many type S drivers out there in VA????????? and whenever I go to radley acura dealer I ask my salesman how's acura TL-S sells. He says you have to wait for the line in order to get TL S/Navi.. they sold about 36 in last 4 months.. and there must be at least 36 drivers who bought the car.

I don't know about you, but I see at least 3 per day around here. I did see a blue one with body kit and lowered springs. Looked pretty nice.

I'm planning on buying a TL-S in the next few months (assuming everything works out money wise) ... I just moved to the Northern Virginia area, so when I get the car, I'll be one of them!

I drive a DEP TLS but you'll only see me when I'm visiting the in-laws in Burke -- so if you see a DEP w/ body kit, spoiler, and ATP Flash wheels, honk at me. But I'm surprised you don't see more up there. I saw a blue TLS that looked like they guy had been washing it with steel wool. Stupid bastard. I see plenty here in Roanoke. I've seen a black, a blue, a few whites, a few silvers, but have yet to see any green (like mine). And I've seen a gold and a grey TL-P.

I live in Fairfax and have a silver TL-S, which I got from Radley. I'm on 50 all the time, so who knows.. could have been me...

I will say that I'm starting to see more and more of the new TL's which look exactly the same of course besides the wheels..

Yep, I got one. And I think they might indeed be rare because I have yet to see one on the road and I'm on the road a lot (damn near 14000 miles on the TLS already). I wanted a black one but they didn't have one on the lot at Duncan. They had the green -- I saw it, I liked it, I bought it. Instant gratification.

RedLined:
I was at Radley Acura last night, right next to my car was a brand new DEP/S. Really sharp! I was standing outside grabbibg a butt, when this 70 Yr Old Man got in, veered out the entrance, and was layin rubber down Jeff Davis HWY!!!

The guy was driving his age!

Work in VA, Live in Md..

Well I don't live in N.VA. But I work at Dulles. Had my TLS since june and with all the cars at the airport I still have not seen any out there. But you will usually see me between 7-8 am heading to Dulles and between 4-6 pm everyday heading my liberal ass back to Maryland. You know the State Troopers in Va have a thing for us black guys in black cars with tinted windows. And the sad thing is, I have a badge and gun and still get pulled. Usually "Oh, You look like a suspect", Geez, Give me a break. Then they want to know how the can become a federal officer. Because unlike them I can carry concealed in all 50 states and US territories.

hey. I was at I95. Last Sat going to NJ, Fortlee from Fairfax VA, I saw only 3 TLS drivers. Whenever TLS gets closer to each other in the road. They just boom goes fast and look out my TLS. Every TLS drivers enthusiastic about their cars. TLS looks sexy on the road.
Anyway even though I'm at Fairfax area it is kinda hard to find same car. I saw lots of TL 00 drivers. but not TLS. and TL 00 driver take a look close on 2002 TLS on the road of highway.

I sport a Silver TL-S w/o Navi on 66, 50, Tysons, and especially the Fair Lakes/Penderbrook area. I also spend about 50% of my time along the 270 corridor in MD. Mostly in Gaithersburg and Rockville.

edit: forgot to mention color.

What's up BlueXTC I told you I'd see you here sometime.

I have an 02 TLS NBP lowered with H&R Sports. I see lots of TL's but not TLS on the road. They are usually old as NOVAWHITETYPES mentioned.

yo that's me...i went to the wack ass rsx meet with moon and tony on sunday.... my headlights came out ok

left head light has grill mark on the bottom but moon dremeled it off...can't really notice unless u stare at it

and it didn't leak for like a month then one day after car wash...my headlight fogged up like hell...i dried it out next day by driving arond with turnsignals unplugged from the socket...since then no fog...

aiming the head light was easy... you just need a long stem phillips screw driver...

well if u want to clear ur headlights...i will help u also... just drop me a PM..

I second this motion. I would like to see how other people's cars are with their mods. I personally have never worked on cars at all, and am about to take a stab at installing a CAI w/ bypass. Maybe we could learn some tips from each other.

Wow, thats funny that this message got bumped up. I never did buy a 2002 Acura TL-S around the time I said I would, but I did just buy a NBP 2003 TL-S 2 weeks ago! (better late than never right?) I live and work in the Herndon/Reston area, and I'm 22.

No mods ... Yet

Sweet rides!!!

Hey I remember the last time they had a NOVA meet that people were helping each other install shock sensors for their cars. If there is a meet, would anyone be willing to do that again? I'll pay whatever the cost of the parts is, but it'd be nice to have a little extra security on my car, especially with all the stories of headlight theft going around!

Clearing headlights sounds pretty sweet too ... although I know next to nothing about actually doing it.
