So what have I missed?
Hey guys, Ive been gone from this site (amongst other things) for aquite along time now. I ended up losing my TL because the Los Angeles County court system doesn tknow how to update their system correctly.
Basically, I got pulled over for no front license plate, no big deal right? Wrong, for some reason I had a "No Bail Warrant" for a dui that i got back in 2003, which was completely taken care of in 2005, so long story short, car was inpounded and spent some time in jail until they were able to figure out the issue, then they said sorry and let me out lol. Car was sold since it was help passed the 30 days that they keep it for.
I havent seen it since then, and I miss it a lot. Ive bought three DSM's in the mean time, 1 97 gst, 1 96 gst, and now a 92 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD. These cars dont compare to the TL, I mean yeah theyre turbo charged and with the mods I have theyre faster then the TL, but the ride, and interior of the TL puts these DSM's to shame.
Im looking to get another TL and more then likely do a 6 speed swap again, or go with a 04-06 tl 6 speed.
Ill be on here every once in a while just to try to catch back up on things.

Well I couldn't find a cheap gsx when I was looking, and after fixing and selling the fist two eclipses, I bought the eagle, which is basically a 1st gen gsx.
Yeah I would steal the car back if I could find it, I have no freakin clue where its at.

Reimbursed? Lol yeah right, they don't reimburse, basically I cost THEM money for being in there. And as far as the car goes, they sent notices about the car but with my divorce, loss of money from not working while in jail, and trying to find a place to live, I couldn't afford to get it out.

Wow 20's on TL's, I thought I'd never see the day, and without a drop? Please tell me there's no lift kits involved lol.
I do remember 1 or 2 guys on here that had 20's and everyone clowned. Looking through the threads I do see a lot of questions being asked that were answered when I was a noob, but I'm sure I did the same damn thing lol.
I really wanna get back into a TL but I'm torn between a 3rd gen 6speed, or a 2nd gen and doing the 6 speed swap again.
Maybe ill sell my dsm to get what I want.

There's nothing I can do about getting my car back, what the impound lot did was legal, its the court system that screwed me over.
Funny thing is when I went to court I told the judge that I had the paperwork showing that I completed everything for my dui and the case was closed. She told me to bring the paperwork to the next court date, so I'm thinking "sweet she's gonna let me out" so I ask, and she said no you have to stay until you can provide the paperwork or until we find out.
Lol how the hell was I suppoosed to get the paperwork from my car when both of us were locked up. Needless to say I had to wait until they realized their fault. So I did some jail time for no front license plate. Talk about cruel and unusual punishment.

Thanks for the welcome back again, I can't see the black market for some reason, I'm interested in what TL's are for sale, but I can't view it. Weird.
Anyway, I did get a lawyer and he did absolutely nothing and cost me more then it would hav e cost to get my car out.
So basically I'm done with that shit and put it behind me. It was almost a year ago now, that it happened and about 10 months since it ended.
Everything is good now, slowly making back to where I was, actually better now. I have a house, cars, awesome girlfriend, and a new pitbull.
I just really want to find a good tl. But I'm gonna have to save up, rather pay cash then finance.

seriously man, call some lawyer who will hear you out, maybe take your case just off commission or something...that's such bullshit how you got screwed.
